In partnership with NHS colleagues, we deliver a pre-registration BSc Nursing Science (Child) course aligned with the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s ‘Future Nurse’ standards, preparing you to lead as a Registered Nurse who prioritises people, practises effectively, and promotes professionalism.You will develop critical thinking for complex healthcare issues affecting children, young people, and families through an integrated programme at Coach Lane Campus and clinical placements, following standard university semesters with breaks for projects, internships, or rest. This course fosters curiosity, creativity, and collaboration, enabling evidence-based compassion to drive genuine impact on the health and wellbeing of babies, children, young people, and their families.
