The Furniture and Product Design programme emphasises hands-on making skills to enable designers to deeply explore functionality and aesthetic potential in material culture. Students are trained as skilled designers and makers, with a focus on broader cultural, environmental, and commercial contexts. Over 25 years, it has produced graduates ready for impactful careers in settings like designing lighting for Anglepoise, developing airport furniture systems, or collaborating with renowned sculptors.
