About the course

In this course, you’ll graduate ready to work as a primary school teacher for Years 1 to 6, a primary school Health and Physical Education teacher, and a secondary Health and Physical Education teacher for Years 7 to 10.You’ll study areas of the primary curriculum including English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, Health and Physical Education, and the Arts.You’ll design, deliver and lead a sport development program for juniors, either within a school or club and receive coaching accreditation in selected sports. 3 reasons to study Primary, 1-10 Health and Physical Education Teaching at Murdoch:

  1. The Bachelor of Education Primary, 1-10 Health and Physical Education course enables students to develop the knowledge, skills and capabilities to teach in a primary classroom from Years 1 to 6. In addition, graduates will specialise in Health and Physical Education (HPE) thus enabling them to be Curriculum Leaders in HPE across the Years 1 to 10 and to (be) lead extracurricular activities.
