Our LLB Law with Criminology programme is ideal for aspiring legal practitioners specialising in criminal law, offering a blend of legal and criminological perspectives to build foundational skills for qualifying as a solicitor or barrister in England and Wales. Recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board, it provides core legal principles, criminology insights, and practical experience through work placements and our Legal Advice Centre. This equips students with transferable skills for careers in the legal profession, criminal justice system, civil service, government, and beyond, as evidenced by alumni placements at organisations like Irwin Mitchell and the Crown Prosecution Service.Students receive personalised support from a Personal Tutor and academic assistants, alongside updates to our teaching framework for 2024/25 based on student feedback.
