The programme covers the full software engineering process, emphasising methodical, robust, and error-free design and development. Year one introduces computing principles, application building, web development, and a real-world team project. Subsequent years advance full-stack web development, secure coding, and skills in multiple programming languages, culminating in team projects, a major final-year project, project management expertise, and software lifecycle tools.This course shares its first year with BSc (Hons) Computer Science, enabling transfers, and offers a foundation year option. A four-year placement route provides third-year industry experience to enhance employability (subject to availability).
