The BSc (Hons) in Criminology and Sociology provides a dynamic opportunity to explore two interconnected disciplines, focusing on crime's causes, patterns, consequences, and societal responses within a broader social context. Over the first two years, students gain training in diverse research methods to prepare for an independent final-year project.Our multidisciplinary department offers extensive elective options for in-depth study in criminology and sociology, while emphasizing career-relevant skills through work experience, study-abroad programs, and practical projects. In the final year, students can continue with the core degree or specialize in pathways such as Justice Studies, Quantitative Methods, or Global Youth Justice for targeted exit awards.
