The MSc Adult Nursing (Pre-registration) is an accelerated two-year postgraduate course for graduates, enabling registration as an adult nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Aligned with NHS core values, it equips you to assess patient needs, provide sensitive support, ensure safety, and collaborate across professions like doctors, physiotherapists, and dieticians. Half your time involves clinical placements or simulation in diverse settings, including operating theatres, A&E, community centres, ICUs, outpatient departments, and nursing homes, supported by practice and academic assessors.Based in the award-winning Brooks building with hospital-standard facilities and simulation suites, you'll develop skills through small-group patient journey simulations. Taught by registered nurses, health visitors, advanced practitioners, and academics—many still in practice—the course offers real-world experience, outstanding labs with computerised manikins, and eligibility for the NHS Learning Support Fund.
