Our Computer Science and Cyber Security degree equips students with in-demand skills in computer science and cyber security. As computer technology permeates modern life—from advanced devices and software to data management—security remains integral to system design and maintenance.Housed in Loughborough's Department of Computer Science, the program offers comprehensive coverage of core topics alongside specialized cyber security modules, delivered by world-leading experts. Informed by cutting-edge research and industry partnerships, it imparts innovative techniques. The first two years align with the Computer Science BSc, building foundations for advanced third-year studies in areas like networking, cyber risk management, digital forensics, cryptography, and a capstone project. Optional modules explore emerging computing fields, supported by state-of-the-art facilities including five general labs and specialized setups for robotics, networking, HCI, and imaging.
