A four-year option includes a placement year for practical experience and employability enhancement.

You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced industry professionals, who will provide you with feedback and guidance on your work. Year three* – You will distil and extend your practical skills and experiences in the creation of a final piece for filmed performance, as well as explore opportunities to work collaboratively. You will choose and explore an element of acting theory in depth in order to gain a deeper understanding of your work. At the conclusion of the final year you will be ready to take the next steps along your career path within the screen industries. *If you choose to study this course over four years, this will include a placement year (also known as a sandwich year, work placement, industrial placement, or year in industry), which provides a fantastic opportunity to enhance your employability and gain practical experience in your field of study.
