La Trobe's Bachelor of Information Technology is designed to prepare students for the digital future by providing essential skills in programming, networking, databases, systems analysis and design, and project management.Students build a solid foundation in core IT competencies while selecting a major in high-growth fields such as artificial intelligence, cloud analytics, cybersecurity, network engineering, or information systems. They can further expand their expertise through diverse electives in business, social sciences, humanities, web engineering, computer technology, and security. Additionally, students have the opportunity to create and showcase their own software projects at the annual Engineering and IT Showcase to attract potential employers.

Learn how to use cloud-based analytic algorithms to identify patterns in and extract insights from data. You’ll examine the different analytics tools available and explore how you can leverage their capabilities to analyse huge amounts of data, inform decision-making and enhance collaboration.
