About the course

This programme, based in the Department of Psychology, integrates established undergraduate curricula in economics and psychology. Mandatory courses from both disciplines provide students with a comprehensive understanding of their core principles and interconnections. Participants will study key areas of psychology, emphasising social and cognitive aspects to explore links between individual and social behaviours, alongside microeconomics and macroeconomics for insights into decision-making and economic systems. In the third and fourth years, students engage in interdisciplinary courses on decision-making, including axiomatic analysis and observational models, to examine complementary explanations of human behaviour. They will also receive training in research methods and statistical analysis, leading to a final-year dissertation. Throughout, optional courses enable students to customise their studies, with selections adapting to evolving interests and faculty expertise.
