The BEng (Hons) Chemical Engineering, accredited by the Institution of Chemical Engineers, equips students with essential theoretical and practical skills, fostering strong industry connections to enhance career opportunities. This four-year program includes options for a fifth year to upgrade to an MEng, with final-year students completing a group design project.The program emphasizes core fundamentals in science, maths, and engineering, supported by state-of-the-art labs featuring industrial-standard equipment, including electronics and programming tools like Arduino and LabVIEW. Students can pursue a 10-month industrial placement for a Diploma in Industrial Training, aiding eligibility for professional registration. An Industrial Advisory Board ensures the curriculum aligns with industry needs, preparing graduates for immediate workforce entry, as highlighted by industry leaders.
