This degree explores drugs and poisons, their effects on the body, and the development of new medicines. With a strong industry focus, it provides pathways to careers in pharmacology, toxicology, drug research, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and other health sectors.Students can specialise via electives, tailoring studies to their interests, with hands-on experience in advanced formulation, pharmacology, and analytical labs. The pharmacology emphasis offers a strong foundation for: Pharmacy (Bachelor of Pharmacy (1395) | Master of Pharmacy (5661)); Medicine (Doctor of Medicine (5099)); Dentistry (Bachelor of Dental Health Science (1577)); or Medical Research (Master of Medical Research (5626)).
