About the course

From September 2025, this course will be delivered under the new code HU13. It equips students to address health inequalities, obesity, and promote mental, physical, and environmental health through practical strategies for disease prevention and health promotion. The curriculum explores real-world challenges, fostering skills in health interventions, disparities, and policy at local, national, and international levels to enhance health outcomes and wellbeing.Interactive learning, led by public health experts, includes hands-on sessions and interprofessional opportunities. Modules cover foundations of public health, epidemiology, policy, and a dissertation, with assessments such as essays, presentations, and projects designed to mirror professional competencies, preparing graduates for impactful careers.
