This course offers a balanced blend of theoretical study and hands-on experience, preparing you with the essential skills to excel as a compassionate midwife in a challenging and fulfilling profession. It fosters critical thinking and problem-solving abilities vital for navigating the dynamic field of healthcare, while emphasizing diverse opportunities to support women's, babies', and families' health. Rooted in humanistic principles, midwifery education prioritizes caring that respects emotional, spiritual, physical, social, and psychological aspects of childbearing, integrating the science (such as biological principles and evidence-based care) with the art (including communication and culturally sensitive delivery).Upon completion, students earn a Bachelor-level Midwifery qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, enabling them to provide safe, effective care as autonomous professionals. However, due to its ties with the National Health Service, this program cannot accept applications from international fee-status students because of funding and placement restrictions.
