The MSci Computer Science programme equips students with essential theoretical and practical knowledge to thrive in this core field of modern life. This four-year course offers broader coverage than a traditional BSc, including core techniques, advanced programming, and emerging technologies. Students develop transferable skills in analysis, problem-solving, and awareness of current trends, while gaining exposure to key developments in computer science.In the final two years, participants select from research-led modules in areas such as Complex Systems, Visual Computing, and Data and Knowledge Engineering. Graduates emerge with strong analytical abilities, ready for diverse professional careers. The programme features an optional industry year for real-world application, requires no prior knowledge with introductory modules, and supports specialization through projects and options.
