Business Management, BSc (Hons)

Our three-year BSc Business Management programmes feature a shared first year, where students undertake seven compulsory modules spanning various business disciplines to build a comprehensive understanding of management contexts and processes.The programme offers a broad education in business and management subjects, with ample flexibility for selecting optional modules. In the final year, students must complete at least one module from each of human resource management, marketing, accounting, operations, and general management. Distinctive features include studying in a school ranked sixth in the UK for research quality and joint first for research environment in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework; teaching by research-active staff; a focus on independent learning in a research-led setting; a diverse range of multidisciplinary modules; progression via core and specialist options; and opportunities to study abroad, with or without a language component.
