Brunel's Electronic and Electrical Engineering BEng degree equips students with essential knowledge and skills to design innovative electronic and electrical systems for future technologies. The first year is shared across engineering disciplines, fostering an understanding of interdisciplinary connections and career options. Students progress from foundational electronics and sustainability to advanced topics like robotics, control systems, embedded systems, and intelligent systems, with opportunities to specialise in areas such as artificial intelligence, communication systems, computer systems, or energy systems.The programme provides access to state-of-the-art facilities, including laboratories and industry-standard software, and is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), meeting requirements for Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status. It can be completed in three years full-time or four with a placement. Graduates gain analytical and creative skills for dynamic roles in technology, with strong placement networks near London's electronics hub, leading to careers at companies like IBM and Siemens.
