About the course

Our four-year undergraduate Nursing – Dual Award course provides practical experience in two nursing fields, while fostering leadership skills through a research-informed approach, enabling registration as a nurse in both areas. This integrated MSci programme runs alongside our BSc (Hons) Nursing course, where you will study with peers from fields such as Adult, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, and Child Nursing, with specialised support to complete Level 7 components in year four. Involving placements in various hospital and clinical settings across the West Midlands, the course is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Upon successful completion, you can apply for dual Registered Nurse status and earn 120 Level 7 credits for potential future Master's study, with 'dual award' referring to NMC dual registration eligibility.
