About the course

As a combination of art, function and natural systems, landscape architects design the world outside. From urban squares, streets and parks to natural forests, rail and roadways, they integrate solutions to combat global issues like climate change and ecological decline.Landscape architects create rich, positive experiences for people and provide designed environments which engage users with dynamic experiences and a strong sense of place. This course covers all aspects of landscape architecture and is fully recognised and accredited by the Landscape Institute (LI).Experience on-site with live projects and within the design studios of local practices will develop your design creativity and hone your professional practice skills. Work placements and competitions provide the opportunity to generate experience live projects, win awards, and build a professional network before you graduate.Landscape Architecture with Urban Design pathwayDo you love the character and buzz of urban places? As a complement to Landscape Architecture, this pathway focuses on urban contexts as social places and looks at ways in which human-built environments can ensure a more sustainable, happy future for all of us. Our Urban Design pathway offers real industry exposure and experience through practice, to enhance your employability. Through guided exploration of the personal design and research process, you will explore and unwrap many layers to reveal the unlimited design options that our urban landscapes present.
