Digital Animation, BA (Hons)

This cutting-edge BA programme develops skills across Digital Animation conventions, taught by established practitioners sharing expertise in 2D and 3D disciplines. As part of Birmingham City University’s Film suite, it equips graduates with theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and industry trends to thrive in a rapidly evolving sector.An optional Professional Placement Year is available after successful completion of Year 2, allowing a full year with an employer to explore career paths—many students return post-graduation. Students secure placements using the University’s extensive employer network and Careers team support, then request transfer to the placement version. Fees apply at 20% of the full-time rate for that year.
