The BSc (Hons) Computing degree at Bath Spa University empowers students to explore and implement ideas from design through development to deployment. This hands-on, employability-focused program teaches industry-relevant tools and methods, emphasizing collaboration, communication, and innovation. Through the in-house Innovation Lab, students commercialize ideas and gain practical experience to meet industry demands for adaptable problem-solvers.The curriculum progresses from foundational programming in languages like C++ and JavaScript in year one, to advanced data manipulation and human-computer interaction in year two, and culminates in year three with individual and team projects in areas such as machine learning. Assessment is primarily coursework-based, including prototypes, reports, and presentations, preparing graduates to contribute innovatively to the global digital economy.
