About the course

This course will prepare you for work as a professional engineer at the forefront of high-technology industry in both technical and managerial roles. During the degree you will gain extensive practical experience to ensure that you develop sound practical skills as well as a thorough theoretical knowledge.Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer and partly meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.‘Placement Year’ and 'International Experience Year’ options are available for this course. You will have the opportunity to fully consider these options when you have started your course at Bangor and can make an application for a transfer onto such a pathway at the appropriate time.
