About the course

The Bachelor of Health Science addresses major contemporary health challenges by drawing on ANU’s leading strengths in medical education, biomedical science, population health, psychology, social science and public policy. The degree prepares students for careers in medicine, allied health and related professions, while delivering a broad foundation in the disciplines and concepts required for advanced study in health and medicine.It offers flexible pathways, including entry to the ANU Doctor of Medicine and Surgery (MCHD), honours and vertical double degrees in the Master of Public Health or Master of Science Communications, and equips graduates with skills for roles in allied health, policy, public service and other health-related fields.
