Engineering in Software Engineering, Bachelor (Hons)

Software engineering involves developing effective software systems to solve complex problems across diverse fields, including transport, communications, finance, medicine, science, entertainment, and the arts.The ANU Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Software Engineering employs a multidisciplinary systems approach, encompassing technical aspects of professional practice, innovation, and research, as well as socio-technical contexts such as managing uncertainty, risk, design, modern management practices, ethics, and communication. Students build these skills through a blend of theoretical studies, team-based projects with industry partners, work experience, and opportunities to enhance innovation and entrepreneurship via startup initiatives with industry mentors.
