This course does not offer teacher registration but equips students with essential education skills and knowledge for roles in various community and private settings, such as mentoring and tutoring programs, community initiatives, public and welfare services, after-school care, and teacher aide positions. Students can tailor their education career to personal interests through relevant majors or minors, including physical education (secondary), arts (music, visual arts, and media), community (health, welfare, disability, or psychology), English (literary studies and teaching English as an additional language), humanities (history, cultural, or Indigenous studies), ICT (digital media), maths, outdoor education, and science specialisations.Please note that this program does not meet prerequisites for teacher registration. Domestic students may study their first year at Werribee Campus, then continue at Footscray Park Campus, while international students complete all years at Footscray Park Campus.
