The program addresses power dynamics that privilege certain knowledge, analyzes the hidden curriculum, and equips you to critique educational systems while exploring how education can foster empowerment. In addition to rigorous academic work, you will develop practical skills through placements and volunteering opportunities, applying theory to real-world contexts. While this course does not lead to teacher qualification, it provides strong preparation for postgraduate pursuits, such as teacher training and educational research.
