About the course

Numerous critical issues—such as climate change, healthcare, political participation, and taxation—span philosophical, political, and economic dimensions. UWA's Bachelor of Philosophy, Politics and Economics (BPPE, BP012) is a rigorous interdisciplinary program that grounds students in these fields, exploring their interconnections, shared history, and critical thinking skills vital for modern careers. The Bachelor of Arts (BA, BP001) offers diverse majors in music, design, law, humanities, and social sciences, fostering transferable skills for employment advantage. High-achieving students with humanities interests can complete both degrees in four years.**Enrolment Guidance for Majors and Minors:** Select one degree-specific major (MJDC code) from BPPE and one (MJD code) from BA via StudentConnect. One second major (MJS code) and up to two minors (MNR code) are allowed if prerequisites are met and all fit within 192 credit points. Prohibited: MJD-POLSC (Political Science and International Relations), MJD-PHILY (Philosophy), MJD-PSYCH/MJS-PSYCY (Psychological and Behavioural Sciences). See course rules or contact Student Advising via AskUWA.
