About the course

Our BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy programme, accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), enables graduates to register and practise as physiotherapists. The course integrates work-based training and state-of-the-art facilities, allowing students to master evidence-based practices, explore influencing theories, and adopt a holistic approach. Guided by experienced faculty, you'll develop skills in collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote rehabilitation and wellbeing, while enhancing inter-professional and interpersonal abilities. With a practical emphasis, the programme includes case-based learning and placements, where you'll spend about a third of your time in NHS and other sector environments. Opportunities for international experience via partners in Finland and Norway through Erasmus add global perspective. Graduates are in high demand across the UK, with career paths in hospitals, community settings, private practice, sports centres, or voluntary organisations.
