Business Management, BSc (Hons), with industry placement

This Business Management degree encourages innovative thinking about business, hands-on experience, and driving change in organisations and society. Drawing from economics, history, and social sciences, it provides a unique interdisciplinary approach not commonly found elsewhere. Students undertake a paid year-long work placement for practical experience, preparing them for careers in diverse sectors like startups, corporations, social enterprises, and nonprofits. The programme features research-led teaching by field leaders, strong industry connections with guest speakers, and accreditations from bodies such as CIMA and AACSB. A study abroad option is available instead of the placement year.Modules may include Strategic Operations Management, Hacking for Ministry of Defence, and Technological Innovation. Assessment involves dissertations, essays, individual and group projects, and written exams, with professional recognition from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
