About the course

This course equips you with essential skills to plan, promote, finance, and expand your business venture, including a study year abroad at partner institutions in Europe, North America, Australia, or Asia. Graduates emerge ready to launch their own enterprises or apply entrepreneurial strategies in established organizations, while enhancing employability through new skills in digital business models, technological innovation, digital marketing, and core business fundamentals like financial and management accounting. Hands-on experiences, such as preparing business plans and pitching to experts, are complemented by optional modules in strategic marketing, project management, finance, and interdisciplinary areas like programming and web design.Led by research-driven academics with strong ties to innovative companies in London and Southampton, the program offers insights from industry leaders. Modules may include Innovation, Technology and the Environment; The Lean Startup; and International Entrepreneurship. Assessment involves essays, individual and group projects, and written exams. A variant includes a paid industrial placement year. The course is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, with alumni founding businesses or joining firms like PwC and Deloitte.
