Electrical and electronic engineers design, develop, test, and manage innovative technologies, from power generation and processing to devices like drones, electric vehicles, smartphones, navigation systems, and hospital equipment.This course equips you with specialised knowledge and skills for a sustainable future, through individual and team-based lab projects that integrate numerical, analytical, and technical expertise to solve real-world problems. As a graduate, you will be prepared to deliver industry-demanded engineering solutions. All electrical and electronic programs share core content in the first two years, allowing specialisation in year three. The four-year MEng degree offers a deeper insight into electrical engineering and is the preferred path to Chartered Engineer status. In the first year, you build foundational principles and practical skills; the second year advances your understanding and design abilities; the third year offers specialist options; and the fourth year explores cutting-edge technologies with leading experts.
