About the course

Lincoln’s Accountancy and Finance degree provides a vocationally focused and academically robust education, offering exemptions from certain professional accountancy exams. It develops practical and theoretical skills in financial information, while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and reflective abilities essential for business leaders and societal contributors. The programme begins with foundational business and accountancy topics, progressing to advanced modules in financial and management accountancy, economics, and options like audit, including hands-on SAGE accounting skills. In the final year, students can customize their studies with specialized electives. Assessment varies by module, encompassing coursework, exams, portfolios, group work, and presentations, with guidance from academic staff and peers. For the latest details, refer to the course page on our website, noting that options may change based on staff availability and timetabling.

The opportunity to develop skills in SAGE accounting are embedded within the programme during second year.
