The History of Art program explores how and why various art forms, such as paintings, sculptures, buildings, and designs, take their distinctive shapes. Students gain access to extensive resources, including the University Library and Archives, The Hunterian museum with its world-renowned Hunter, Whistler, and Mackintosh collections, and Kelvin Hall's innovative collections centre. In the third year, a grant supports visits to relevant museums, galleries, and buildings.Theatre Studies examines theatrical events and culture through critical, historical, and practical perspectives. It fosters strong industry connections, providing opportunities to collaborate with nationally and internationally acclaimed practitioners.
