The Film and Television Studies programme explores cinema and television as key drivers of enjoyment and knowledge in contemporary culture. Situated in Glasgow, a prominent hub for film and television production, the university frequently welcomes practitioners and policymakers from the creative industries.History of Art examines the creation and aesthetics of paintings, sculptures, buildings, and various design forms. Students benefit from resources such as the University Library and Archives, The Hunterian museum with its renowned Hunter, Whistler, and Mackintosh collections, and Kelvin Hall's innovative access centre. A grant is also provided during the third-year break to support visits to relevant museums, galleries, and buildings.
