Students can develop practical fieldwork skills in the UK and abroad, with recent participants engaging in projects in locations such as the Baltic states, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, and Portugal.History of Art investigates the reasons behind the forms of paintings, sculptures, buildings, and various media. You will access extensive resources including the University Library and Archives, The Hunterian museum and art gallery with its world-renowned Hunter, Whistler, and Mackintosh collections, and Kelvin Hall's innovative collections center. In your third-year break, a grant is available to support visits to museums, galleries, and buildings related to your course options and dissertation topic.
