In the first year, students cover core elements like sound, word, and sentence analysis, social contexts of language, and its cognitive development, with an option to specialize in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). The second year allows further specialization, including TEFL teaching methods, and includes opportunities for a year abroad or placement. Subsequent years focus on advanced research, independent projects, and dissertations under expert supervision. The final year incorporates postgraduate modules, advanced research training, and access to cutting-edge facilities for projects in areas like eye tracking and EEG.
