At UEA, the BA Drama program blends practical, historical, and critical studies, with a focus on developing skills in acting, directing, design, and theatre-making. Taught by artists and researchers, it offers pathways in acting, theatre production, or technical roles, alongside exploration of global theatre, theoretical approaches, and creative techniques.Students will work in the professional Drama Studio and participate in the acclaimed Minotaur Theatre Company, gaining hands-on experience in performance, technical skills, and scriptwriting. Set in Norwich's rich arts scene, the program builds capabilities for careers in theatre, film, radio, or other fields, enhanced by a optional 9-12 month placement year.
