This three-year Aerospace Engineering course integrates advanced theoretical knowledge with practical experience, equipping students with essential skills to address future engineering challenges. It encompasses key themes such as aerodynamics, structures and materials, dynamics and control, and systems and design, applied to diverse areas including fixed and rotary wing aircraft, spacecraft missions, and renewable energy.The first two years focus on core concepts through lectures, coursework, and lab activities, while fostering skills like teamwork and presentation via design-build-test projects. In the third year, students tackle an open-ended research project, such as automating UAV landings or testing advanced materials, collaborating with world-leading academics and leveraging extensive facilities.
