Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Robotics, MEng (Hons)

Robotics engineers design, build, and develop machines and systems for diverse sectors including manufacturing, energy, aerospace, transport, and healthcare. This MEng programme in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Robotics integrates core principles of electrical and electronic engineering with robotics and artificial intelligence, preparing students for careers in the expanding automation industry. As Industry 4.0 transforms global manufacturing and other fields, the course emphasizes advanced topics like kinematics, dynamics, control of robotic arms, and techniques for mobile robot localization and mapping. Students gain hands-on experience through state-of-the-art labs, such as robotics and laser facilities, while the first two years cover broad engineering disciplines before specialization in later years.Assessment combines coursework, practical evaluations, and exams, enhancing transferable skills for employability.
