Our BA (Hons) Film Production degree at UCA Farnham draws on a 60-year legacy and a track record of successful alumni, continually evolving to lead in industry practices. Situated near key production hubs with top-tier facilities and partnerships with the BFI and ARRI, the course equips students with essential skills and networks. Guided by award-winning professionals—including filmmakers, editors, and cinematographers—students explore all aspects of filmmaking to define their career paths and personal style, while elective options in animation, music, and acting broaden their expertise.In Year 1, students build foundational knowledge in film analysis, production roles, screenwriting, and narrative theory through group projects. Year 2 examines films based on real events, documentary history, and innovative production methods. In Year 3, learners create a graduation film, complete a dissertation, and develop strategies for entering the moving image industries.
