Social Work, BSc (Hons)

The Social Work degree was established in 2004 to align with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council's standards, which require all training at Honours level. A key feature is the pre-registration year, meaning graduates must complete an assessed year in employment (AYE) for full registration. The first two years are taught at Belfast Met, with the final year at Magee campus.
