This programme features a Year Abroad, enabling students to study at one of our global partner universities, engaging in modules that combine cultural and discipline-specific content. Those with a strong interest in advancing their mathematics education beyond school should explore G100 or G101. G101 offers a robust foundation for diverse careers, while the four-year MMath option prepares graduates for PhD pursuits or research positions in industry. In the first two years, students cover key topics in pure and applied mathematics, with no prior knowledge of mechanics, statistics, or computing assumed. Year One modules introduce essential concepts and reinforce advanced secondary-level material, allowing for specialisation or a broad curriculum thereafter. Both programmes require at least two modules each in pure and applied mathematics in Year Two. Additionally, the programme is accredited by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications, meeting the standards for the Chartered Mathematician designation.
