Building and Construction (Building)
2nd year undergraduate degree programme

In this diploma course, participants examine the principles, techniques, and regulations of the building and construction industry for medium-rise and wide-span buildings up to 25 metres high. Construction extends beyond building sites to encompass project planning, coordination, and control from inception to delivery.This practical program features hands-on work and project-based learning, enabling students to explore interconnected aspects of building projects. Site excursions to residential and commercial sites provide essential field experience. Graduates may pursue further studies in construction, project management, or property services at RMIT. Students require a Construction Induction Card (CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the Construction Industry) for site visits and associated assessments.
