This course enables FdSc Veterinary Nursing graduates and experienced veterinary nurses to advance their qualifications to an honours degree level. It fosters critical thinking and reflection on prior knowledge, while exploring global disease impacts on animal health, rehabilitation strategies, and advanced anaesthetic techniques. Building on foundational skills, the program deepens expertise in first and second opinion practices, global veterinary issues, and evidence-based evaluation. Participants will gain enhanced knowledge in analysing animal diseases domestically and internationally, managing critical care and rehabilitation, and evaluating medical and surgical cases, alongside skills for clinical coaching roles.In Year One, modules include Applied Emergency and Critical Care, Advanced Anaesthesia Techniques, Global Animal Disease, Advanced Practice in Veterinary Nursing, and an Evidence-Based Veterinary Nursing Project.
