Our three-year primary teaching course equips you with essential professional skills to become an effective teacher, addressing challenges like teaching reading to three-year-olds, creating individual plans for seven-year-olds with dyslexia, and managing five-year-olds' behaviour. You will develop expertise in promoting pupil progress, demonstrating strong subject and pedagogical knowledge across the primary curriculum, and delivering well-structured, adaptive lessons. Strong research skills enable you to integrate the latest educational findings into innovative classroom management and solutions for issues, including memory in learning, addressing misconceptions, supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, and reflective practice.Annual school placements provide 120 days of hands-on experience across ages 3–11 (Early Years to Key Stage 2).
