Sports Technology integrates sports science and engineering to advance equipment design, manufacturing, and testing for the sports industry. Based in a dedicated institute, the course emphasizes industrial design, human factors, and marketing, equipping graduates with specialized skills to innovate and improve sports products. It combines principles of product design, materials science, and analysis to enhance performance and user experience.The MEng program targets ambitious students aiming for leadership roles, offering a pathway to Chartered Engineer status, while sharing the first two years with the BEng. MEng extends into advanced biomechanics, design, and industry projects in years three and four. Assessment includes coursework (30-50%), exams, reports, and presentations to prepare students for professional careers.
