Political change and argument are central to our rapidly evolving world. This Politics BA (Hons) degree emphasizes key issues and ideas driving these developments, equipping students to critically analyze contemporary political issues, institutions, and controversies. It deepens knowledge of politics, fostering sharper citizenship to address 21st-century challenges, while progressing from foundational concepts in political practice and theory to specialized topics such as populism, the EU, political violence, justice, and British politics. The program is structured around modules totaling 360 credits for graduation.Assessment includes a range of methods, from essays and group presentations to case studies, political simulations, official reports, and individual poster presentations, culminating in a final-year dissertation on a chosen topic.
