About the course

This course explores key political topics such as American issues, the Holocaust, democracy, globalisation, and UK parties and voters, providing in-depth analysis of these aspects and events. It offers a solid foundation in the theories and approaches to politics and international relations, while enhancing your understanding of politics' role in an increasingly globalised and interconnected world. The programme is structured to examine international affairs within their political and historical contexts, prompting critical questions like: Who holds political power, why, to whom are they accountable, in whose interest do they act, what is globalisation, and is violent protest ever justified?Sample modules include Delivering Public Policy, Global London, Comparative Electoral Systems, and Crisis and Critique. For a complete list and additional details, refer to the Brunel University website.
