Engineering with Business, MEng (Hons), with industry placement

This degree integrates a comprehensive education in engineering, engineering management, and business, providing analytical tools and techniques to grasp essential processes and technologies across the engineering sector. As an engineering program with a business focus, it builds foundational scientific, mathematical, and technical skills to comprehend engineering designs and systems, while fostering key management competencies, business model development, entrepreneurship, financial management, accounting, and project management.Practical projects strengthen systems thinking, and an optional industry placement year enhances hands-on engineering expertise and employability. The curriculum incorporates computer science, embedded systems, digital electronics, data analysis, artificial intelligence, machine learning, sensor systems, robotics, and employability skills. Students may select optional modules from Brunel’s engineering departments to specialize in civil, mechanical, aerospace, or chemical engineering. The MEng Engineering with Business is a four-year undergraduate course (five years with placement) awarding a master's-level qualification; a three-year BEng option (four years with placement) is also available.
